Transition Larkhall – Gardening Blog

The garden is located next to the nursery in Alice Park and in November, work began with volunteers from Transition Larkhall Food Group helping to weed and clear plots with other areas being covered with cardboard, to smother out the weeds and grass.

New Flag Pole Arrives At Alice Park

This was erected by Herbert MacVicar, who created the park in memory of his wife Alice, who died in 1936. We do know, however, that Alice actually died on November 27, 1936, and is buried at the Church of St. John The Baptist, Batheaston.
